- ➤ Rep. Talarico said today that the new $8.5 billion public school funding bill leaves most schools underfunded by offering only a slight boost to per-student funding and selective teacher raises. He also argued that the plan to require the display of the Ten Commandments in classrooms is unconstitutional—warning that it favors one religion over others. CBS19
- ➤ At a town hall on Friday evening at Tyler Junior College's Jean Browne Theater, US Rep.
