- ➤ Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation donated $40,000 to CampV in Tyler on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. The check will fund emergency financial assistance and veteran programs for over 700 veterans a month (bringing the total donation to $282,000 over six years). Tyler Morning Telegraph

- ➤ Tyler ISD hosted its inaugural Spanish Spelling Bee on Thursday at Birdwell Dual Language Immersion School — over 80 students competed with three finalists set to advance to the Regional Spelling Bee in Kilgore in January with a chance to reach the State Competition this summer. - ➤ Christus Health broke ground on a new 30,000 sqft multi-specialty facility in Jacksonville on Thursday, Dec. 18 to expand access to pain management, orthopedics, and vascular care for local and rural patients.
