- ➤ On November 14th, members of Newcomers and Friends of Tyler celebrated the club's 75th anniversary at First Christian Church with games, a meal and speeches. The all-women group, founded in 1950 and now with over 200 members, honored its legacy of building female friendships — and will continue holding monthly meetings. Tyler Morning Telegraph
- ➤ Over 50 Tyler men joined an annual brunch at III Palms and each brought $100—covering their meal cost and leaving the extra as a tip for the server. The event continues a local tradition aimed at spreading kindness. CBS19
- ➤ SPCA of East Texas faces potential funding cuts and is asking for support on Giving Tuesday—Executive Director Emily Heglund said public donations are essential to keep its services running.
