  • The Tyler Hispanic Business Alliance hosted its 2025 Hispanic Achievers and Business Leaders Awards ceremony at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center on November 20th (in Tyler) to honor Hispanic business owners and community leaders for their achievements, including Junior’s Taqueria winning Restaurant Business of the Year.   • In the second round of the Texas high school football playoffs, the Lindale Eagles faced the Fort Bend Crawford Chargers. The Fort Bend Crawford team won the game 35-20.  CBS19
  • The Overton Mustangs beat the Goldthwaite Eagles 47-13 in a second-round playoff game of the 2025 Texas high school football season — the win boosted their chances to advance.  CBS19
