- ➤ Gov. Greg Abbott visited ETX Brewing Company in downtown Tyler yesterday to launch his 2026 reelection campaign and share his plan for lowering property taxes. His five-step approach will limit local spending, require voter approval for any tax increase, and adjust property assessments—measures he said would boost small businesses while supporting law enforcement.
