  • On Sept. 27, breast cancer survivors, fighters and families gathered in Tyler at the UT Health East Texas Breast Cancer Survivor Summit at Green Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk Conference Center where Donna Bowers and medical experts discussed new treatment breakthroughs and research on tailored care.   • In week 6 of the 2025 Texas high school football season, the Pine Tree Pirates beat the Mabank Panthers 64—8 in Tyler.  CBS19
  • Tyler Lions won a close game 17-16 against Joshua on Friday at Owl Stadium after a key tackle by Andrevian Hampton-Ford and a missed extra point by the Owls helped secure the win.
