Good morning, Tyler.

Hundreds gathered at Bergfeld Park in Tyler last Sunday evening to remember Charlie Kirk — the conservative activist fatally shot on Sept 10 at a Utah college — during a memorial service that included worship, praise, and prayer.

Tyler Police were on scene as organizers led the event and 22-year-old Tyler Robinson now faces charges including aggravated murder.

The East Texas State Fair will add a rodeo—along with new twists on classic fair food items as vendors update favorites like corn dogs and nachos.

Organizers expect these changes to draw more visitors later this year.

Smith County deputies rescued 41 Whippets and 3 Poodles from a suspected puppy mill—investigators found the dogs without food, water, or proper care.
