The 11th annual Gold Run at Bergfeld Park and the TrendingTyler Songwriters Festival plus the Rose City Farmers Market on Sept 20 offer more choices for locals to enjoy—providing a busy lineup of events across the region. - ➤ The East Texas State Fair returns today in Tyler for 10 days at a new location off Highway 64 with food, carnival rides, a petting zoo, sea lion shows, and Fair Food Fridays. Broadway Avenue to announce that a section of U.S. Highway 69—from South State Loop 323 to the Bullard city limits—is designated as Veterans Memorial Highway, honoring local veterans.
