  • At Tyler Pounds Regional Airport, seven Medal of Honor recipients received a hero’s welcome from Patriot Guard Riders—local groups greeted the veterans on Thursday.   • The Lindale Eagles beat the Van Vandals 56-49 in Week 3 of the Texas high school football season in Tyler—showing a close win—and they improved their record for the season ahead.  CBS19
  • The Cross Roads Bobcats beat the Bishop Gorman Crusaders 41—18 in a week 3 football game during the 2025 Texas high school football season. The game was played under the lights and the Bobcats built an early lead that they maintained.  CBS19
  • In Week 3 of the 2025 high school football season in Tyler, the Chapel Hill Bulldogs defeated the Whitehouse Wildcats 48-17 under stadium lights— the win highlights Chapel Hill's strong performance this season.  CBS19
