Good morning, Tyler.
🏘️ Community
Love Thy City Day brought free resources, worship and family activities to nearly 7,000 residents at the W.T.
Brookshire and Rose Garden Centers Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organized by a Christian nonprofit, the event (theme 'Love Bolder') united local churches, nonprofits and businesses to share hope.
🎓 Education
Extension programs informed 4-H and FFA families that the IRS Form 1099 reporting threshold increased from $600 to $2,000 starting with payments made in 2026 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act — the change means fewer youth exhibitors will receive a 1099 though taxable income rules still apply.
