- ➤ Tyler City Council approved a contract with Fritcher Construction for over $1.176 million to extend Settlers Landing Drive and rename it Bass Pro Way — the extension will connect South Broadway, Cumberland Village and Centennial Drive, improve access to the new Bass Pro Shops, and is expected to be completed in six months. - ➤ U.S. Rep. Nathaniel Moran visited Tyler’s Caliber Collision Friday afternoon to review its Technical Apprenticeship Program (TAP) that offers paid classroom learning combined with hands on training for collision repair technicians.
