- ➤ A 20-year-old man was found dead Sunday evening—after a passerby spotted his overturned truck fully submerged in a creek along County Road 3305, west of Jacksonville—following an 8:30 a.m. missing person report that led deputies to search Tyler, Athens, and surrounding areas using license plate readers. - ➤ A section of the Carlton Hotel garage in Tyler fell to the street today — NORF Companies said it will demolish the affected area within 48 hours. CBS19

- ➤ Congressional District 1, represented by Rep. Nathaniel Moran, may lose Franklin, Titus, Morris, Camp and part of Upshur while gaining Cherokee and Nacogdoches counties under a redistricting map approved Saturday—aimed at boosting GOP chances in the 2026 midterms.
