- ➤ KVNE partnered with St. Paul Children’s Services and Buckner Children and Family Services for its 13th annual shoe drive to collect 2,500 pairs of shoes for East Texas students before school begins — the drive featured a community drop-off event on Friday and comes amid rising need for new shoes, while Buckner will host a back-to-school event on Aug. 2 at ROC First Baptist Church in Longview.
