- ➤ On Wednesday, July 16th, the 92nd Texas Rose Festival Queen Avery Armstrong, Princess Mary-Michael Dial and their court gathered at Willow Brook Country Club for the Friends of the Rose ‘Everything’s Coming Up Roses!’ luncheon to officially launch the season of celebrations leading up to the October festival. Organizers began choreography practices and costume fittings while expressing compassion for Central Texas floods that have claimed 134 lives—underscoring both excitement for the festivities and sorrow for the tragedy.
