- ➤ A man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for plotting to kidnap and kill his ex-girlfriend in Tyler, authorities said. CBS19
- ➤ The Tyler Police Department warned senior residents about a phone scam in which callers impersonated law enforcement+ used fake arrest warrants and spoofed numbers to pressure victims into sending money for gift cards or depositing funds into cryptocurrency ATMs and connected them with a fake supervisor to make the threat seem real. - ➤ At its Monday night meeting, the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees approved administrative changes including Superintendent Dr. Jack Lee's resignation for his new role at Seguin ISD and appointed Jodi Albritton, Nanci Dixon and Monica Ventress to key district roles — marking a significant leadership shift.
