- ➤ The Tyler Police Department warned senior residents about a phone scam in which callers impersonated law enforcement+ used fake arrest warrants and spoofed numbers to pressure victims into sending money for gift cards or depositing funds into cryptocurrency ATMs and connected them with a fake supervisor to make the threat seem real.
