- ➤ A Tyler man (34) named Brandon Jamaal Walton was arrested at 409 Sutherland Drive on July 3after police seized over 40 pounds of marijuana, cocaine, prescription drugs, firearms, cash and drug packaging equipment during a multi-agency investigation, and child protective services was called when small children were found living in the home. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A Texas appeals court ruled Tuesday that the Texas Education Agency can release its 2024 school accountability ratings—ending nearly two years of legal challenges by several school districts over new automated STAAR scoring.
