- ➤ Retired Green Acres Baptist Church senior pastor David Dykes, 72, died Wednesday at his Tyler home after a 30-year ministry that included leading mission teams internationally. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 9 at the church on Troup Hwy and the family asks for prayers and privacy. Tyler Morning Telegraph
