Good morning, Tyler.

An East Texas church celebrates its 150th anniversary by holding community events that highlight its long history and local contributions - the milestone marks its ongoing legacy in the area.

On Saturday morning, the Juneteenth Association of Tyler hosted its second annual Powerwheel Parade where children drove mini tractors, Ford Rangers, and convertibles — celebrating Juneteenth while all month events continue.

The group will hold the main parade on June 14 to mark the federal holiday that celebrates the emancipation of slaves.

The Tyler Cattle Baron's Gala raised money for cancer research today — the funds will support local research programs and benefit patients in the area.
