Aaron Cox, a 24-year-old soldier from Mabank, died after a rollover accident during training near Camp Croft in Hungary on Thursday—he was evacuated by helicopter while another soldier was hospitalized—and local Hungarian authorities and the Army Criminal Investigation Division investigated the incident. - ➤ Tyler Police Department today launched a new downtown beat to make officers more visible and strengthen community ties amid increased foot traffic and redevelopment. Officers will patrol on foot — covering the area from Front Street to Gentry Parkway and from Palace Avenue to Beckham Avenue while supporting existing homeless outreach and community response programs.
