Meals on Wheels East Texas has enough pet food to last nearly six months but is now short on dog food and is asking for monetary donations or unopened bags of dry dog food—donations can be dropped off at its Tyler headquarters on 3001 Robertson Road.

The program supports over 300 dogs and 200 cats and helps ensure seniors can keep their pets without sacrificing their own meals.
