EDUCATION NEWS

  • Winona ISD school board will hold a revote for three board seats as early voting opens today—local residents can cast ballots—and officials said the move follows a disputed outcome in the earlier vote. The new vote will give voters another chance to choose their candidates.  CBS19

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Texas lawmakers revived a bill that would let developers build smaller homes on less land in new subdivisions to help lower home prices after a procedural move ended its earlier progress on Sunday.
