ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Officials report that a boat and a jet ski collided on Lake Tyler West Saturday at 5:50 p.m.—the jet ski rider was taken to hospital and pronounced dead—while the boater was uninjured. Tyler Morning Telegraph

- ➤ Tyler police are searching for a missing 28-year-old man—officials have not released further details as the investigation continues. CBS19
- ➤ Gov. Abbott announced a $30,000 reward—intended to capture the suspect who is believed to have started a manhunt for a murder in East Texas. CBS19
- ➤ Investigators suspect foul play in the disappearance of Courtney Taylor Martin, who vanished on May 16, 2023 near County Road 42 and Highway 110 North in Tyler after calling her mother for a ride and was reported missing on May 24, 2023, and they believe a friend who left Texas soon after may be connected — Martin, a 34-year-old with mental illness and autism, was part of a vulnerable population. - ➤ Tyler Legacy High School held its graduation Friday night at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium where 571 seniors received their diplomas before a heavy threat of storms. Principal Geoffrey Sherman, along with District 7’s Andy Bergfeld and student speakers, inspired the graduates to step beyond their comfort zones as they looked ahead to the next chapter.
