- ➤ The Diocese of Tyler will hold a Thanksgiving Mass at 12:05 p.m. today at the Chapel of Saints Peter and Paul to honor the election of Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, now known as Pope Leo XIV—he is the first American pope and his name may signal a new chapter for the Church. - ➤ The 11th annual Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival will take place Saturday, May 10th at The Park of East Texas in Tyler — after relocating from its downtown venue due to construction.
