  • ➤ On May 1st, about 50 Smith County residents gathered in Tyler to join a hands-on federal budget workshop led by Rep. Moran & the Concord Coalition that used real CBO data and required groups to decide on 37 options to reach a deficit-neutral plan.   • ➤ Tyler Junior College honored alumnus and Grammy-winning Christian artist Chris Tomlin on Thursday afternoon at the Rogers Nursing & Health Sciences Center—he was inducted into the Ovation Society.
