- ➤ CBS19 is partnering with Urban American Outdoors to host the 3rd annual free Urban Kids Fishing Derby that gives East Texas kids a chance to fish and learn new skills—an initiative designed to engage local youth. CBS19
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Tyler police officer, Sam Lively, died on Friday night when another vehicle hit his motorcycle on Troup Highway north of Loop 323—he had just graduated from the academy, was taken by EMS to a local hospital, and his case is under investigation. Tyler Morning Telegraph
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Grassroots America will hold a workshop on Thursday, May 1 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center—5701 S. Broadway Ave in Tyler to show residents how to protest property appraisals.
