- ➤ East Texans will vote on May 3 for city government positions and school bonds—early voting runs from April 22 to 29 and voters must bring an approved photo ID or file a Reasonable Impediment Declaration. CBS19
- ➤ The Tyler City Council approved the $1.275 million purchase of a 14.6 acre property at 3150 Robertson Road to build a new fire training facility that will replace the current site on Fair Park Drive. The new facility, located near Tyler ISD’s Career and Technology Center and Atwood’s distribution center, will feature updated equipment to help prepare firefighters for emergencies.
