- ➤ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints organized Light the World Giving Machines (first East Texas nonprofit selected) to raise nearly $87,000 for CASA for Kids; donations from stops in McKinney, Arlington, and Grapevine were collected and the check was given on March 27 to support foster children’s supplies.
