  • At the 2025 Smith County Junior Livestock Show, organizers raised a record-breaking $272,000 and awarded $16,000 in scholarships to eight graduating seniors from FFA and 4- H programs—marking a $32,000 increase from the previous record. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Bullard Middle School is set to be finished by August so students can start the 2025-26 school year—workers are installing electrical, plumbing and soon will add air conditioning and heating. HEALTH NEWS

  • NET Health CEO George Roberts joined Mayor Don Warren and UT Tyler's Theresa Byrd on Monday morning at the Tyler Rose Garden to launch National Public Health Week—about 20 participants joined the walk as contest winners for photo and essay entries were announced.
