  • The Smith County Fire Marshal’s Office received a donated Firepup costume on April 2 to teach children fire safety. ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Saturday, a confirmed EF1 tornado hit Lindale with winds up to 97 mph, moving 2.62 miles from 10:20 to 10:28 a.m. Surveyors reported roof and tree damage — but no injuries were reported — during Monday's assessment.  Tyler Morning Telegraph
