CRIME NEWS

  • Smith County jail medical technician Jessica Riley (40) was arrested Thursday afternoon on a third-degree felony charge for allegedly smuggling drugs to an inmate after surveillance footage showed her passing an item from a medical cart, and the inmate Tyirese Ladale Dews faced charges when two Seroquel tablets were found in his cell, according to the sheriff’s office.  Tyler Morning Telegraph
