The Pollard Theater Center will debut Singin’ in the Rain at the Sherman Theater inside Pollard United Methodist Church in Tyler from March 25 to 29, featuring a live orchestra + a mix of seasoned and first-time performers in a classic musical comedy.

Tyler Economic Development Council president Scott Martinez explained that business investment boosted the local tax base by creating jobs, raising home values, and spreading costs for roads, schools, and emergency services & benefiting every taxpayer.

Downtown Tyler is undergoing a transformation with wider sidewalks and two-way street configurations along College Ave as crews modernize key infrastructure.

City leaders say the current phase will finish by the end of March and crews will later move to the Ferguson Street and College Ave intersection.
