- ➤ Texas-based Firefly Aerospace completed its Blue Ghost mission on March 2 after 346 hours of operation carrying 10 NASA experiments and sending its final data at 7:15 p.m. Sunday. Longview native Jason Bates helped test the spacecraft’s electronics, and the company announced on Monday that it met all mission objectives. Longview News-Journal

- ➤ Former Tyler nurse William Davis, found guilty of killing four patients during heart surgeries, is up for a case review after his defense lawyers say his trial was unfair because his lawyer, Phillip Hayes, sent messages asking for sex during the trial—he was arrested for solicitation in October 2021.
