HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Tyler residents learned that both urgent care clinics and ERs offer similar tests and treatments for nonemergencies—yet urgent care is faster, with patients typically treated within an hour compared to a three to five hour ER wait. Dr. Eddy Dark of Integrity Urgent Care advised using urgent care for conditions like coughs, minor injuries and dehydration while reserving ER visits for true life-threatening emergencies.
